Code Enforcement - Code Enforcement is responsible for inspecting property in an effort to ensure a safe, sanitary, and clean city while reducing the appearance of dilapidation and blight. Code Enforcement Officers enforce City Ordinances related to weeds and grass, rubbish and trash, outdoor storage, unsecured structures, dilapidated structures, and other ordinances targeted at improving the quality of life in Onaga, Kansas.

Mission of Code Enforcement​ - The goal of Code Enforcement is to be proactive and responsive to the needs of the citizens of the City of Onaga while enforcing City Ordinances. Compliance with these Ordinances ensures that the City neighborhoods are clean, safe places to live, work, and play. It also helps reduce vandalism, deter crime, and maintain property values.
